Every new version of windows gets more complicated and it's really hard to create customized ISO these days. Free Alternative to NTLite for Windows 8.1, 10 Discussion in ' Windows 10 ' started by quiggly. Other interesting free alternatives to NTLite are Win Toolkit, MSMG Toolkit, WinFuture xp-iso-builder and RyanVM integrator. If that doesn't suit you, our users have ranked more than 10 alternatives to NTLite and eight of them is free so hopefully you can find a suitable replacement. Does not support Checked/Debug, Embedded, IoT editions, nor Vista or XP. The best free alternative to NTLite is Dism++. Server editions of the same versions, excluding support for component removals and feature configuration. There are many other weaknesses in free tools. Supports Windows 11, 10, 8.1 and 7, x86 and 圆4, live and image ( more info ). I know MSMG is free tool, and we never paid anything to developers. The platform integrates updates and automates Windows and application setups, and it sets up all the processes for the next deployment of Windows. In MSMG to go to the next step, you have to wait for the current task to finish. Freemium NTLite NTLite is a Windows customization platform that enables users to modify or remove different components from the system. You just need to sit and drink your coffee. You can choose tasks in NTLite and then it will do everything for you. I even try to download update files from one by one, and it's headache, because it's hard to pick correct version. Most tools that are able to download updates are not usable, because NTLite and MSMG get errors from the files and many of them can not be integrated. NTLite can search for updates and download it for you. For example, not many tweaks, less bloat remove and … MSMG is useful and totally free, but it's not good enough to do everything with it. NTLite is great tool but its paid software and not everyone can afford it to use all features. I actually searched whole internet and found nothing special.

9/18/2023 0 Comments Dead space remake ign walkthroughWith such a high bar for immersion already set by the original, one way EA Motive seeks to improve upon this is by adding a single-shot camera. Franchise staples return, such as the player's health and stasis levels visible on Isaac Clarke's suit, along with the in-world menus for inventory, audio logs, etc. Immersion plays a major role in Dead Space, and the remake promises to not just recapture the immersion, but elevate it. Additionally, one of the most impactful technological advances gets rid of loading screens and allows persistent access to each level, providing an uninterrupted and immersive experience from beginning to end. Features like ray tracing, volumetric effects, and 3D audio enhance the sense of immersion and help the USG Ishimura come to life. Textures, lighting, and animation are improved dramatically, as is to be expected. Rebuilt entirely on the Frostbite engine, Dead Space is able to take full advantage of modern tools to improve the game in every way possible from a technological standpoint. This includes community feedback sessions, live streams, gameplay presentations, and interviews, demonstrating that this is a true passion project for the team. Lucky for fans, EA Motive has shown it knows what made the original so great, as it has been extremely open in communication throughout the development of the game. The original Dead Space developer, Visceral Games, was shut down by EA in 2017, leaving developer EA Motive to handle the remake. The developers of the remake are also adding a suite of underlying systems to improve upon the game in its most crucial areas. Dead Space appears to be handling this perfectly thus far, ensuring the original's core components are intact (setting, atmosphere, direction, sound) and improving upon them wherever possible. At the same time, they use modern gameplay, graphics, and audio to enhance the atmosphere, tension, world-building, and storytelling. The original games are all beloved games in their own right and fans praise the remakes for maintaining what kept the core experiences so strong. Recent remakes include Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, Demon's Souls, and most recently, The Last of Us Part 1. RELATED: How The Callisto Protocol and Dead Space Remake Could Handle New Game Plus Remakes Make Old Games Feel New Again Being a full-blown remake, Dead Space looks to recapture what made the original so loved while adding a few new surprises that aim to enhance the experience even further. These will be updated from the ground up with all-new assets, gameplay systems, and quality-of-life improvements while attempting to remain faithful to the original. Remakes, on the other hand, tend to be completely remade versions of games. Remasters will typically be less extensive overall, providing an increase in resolution and texture quality while offering various surface-level upgrades. While remakes and remasters have become a dime a dozen, the differences between the two are substantial. With a remake of the original set to release in January 2023, fans are eager to step back into the rig of Isaac Clarke and survive the horrors of the USG Ishimura once more. Spawning two direct sequels along with several spinoff games, comics, novels, and more, the Dead Space universe has become quite expansive since the first game's debut. For many, its mix of intense action, terrifying atmosphere, and nightmare-inducing sights and sounds created one of the most memorable gaming experiences of the past two decades. The original Dead Space was released in 2008 and is considered one of the best survival horror games ever made. 9/18/2023 0 Comments Bvckup flushing write cacheWould you recommend I still use delta copying or full copying in this case? This presents a problem if the device is removed or disconnected right after a program (like Bvckup 2) reports that the writing is completed, whereby in reality Windows is still busy writing stuff out to the device.Ģ. Normally, Windows would accept write requests and actually put them through to the device a bit later on - this is called "write caching". Is there any risk to turning off flushing?įlushing ensures that all data that the is _queued_ to be written is actually written out. This is the only thing holding me back from purchasing the pro edition right this moment.ġ. I have it on Delta for now but can switch to full copy if you guys advise for speed sake when doing Local -> Network.Īny help really with the flushing write cache issue would be greatly appreciated. I am not sure what is faster - delta copying or full copies as I'm still doing my initial copy. The max_io_buffers do seem to stick though. Is there anyway you can think of that could help me speed this up? I have tried opening the individual settings file for my backup (after app is closed) and altering the below 4 lines, but whenever I reopen Bvckup, it reverts the Flushing line items to "2". This is obviously very slow compared to just straight copying from Explorer to my Network drive. This can last anywhere from 10sec for 100mb files to upwards of a a few minutes for large files. With Bvckup, I notice that the file copies very fast, but then it gets stuck on Flushing Write Cache after every single file. Synctoy was having issues writing fast enough to my Network Drive. I'm trying to create a weekly backup of my external drive to a Network Mounted Google Drive (using NetDrive) for large files (videos, sometimes in excess of 10GB each). I just downloaded Bvckup 2 trial after hearing about it potentially being a replacement to my trusty Microsoft Synctoy 2.1. Once you are sure your computer has no malware, you can temporarily disable virus scanning. This ensures there is no malware on your computer before you disable the antivirus program. If you want to check if the antivirus program is causing this problem, you should download the offline installation, update the antivirus software, and then scan the entire system. There are some reports that the virus browser prevents Java when installing. When the Internet Options dialog box appears, click the Security tab and click the Default Level button. To do this, go to Internet Explorer, select Tools -> Internet Options. Therefore, you must set the security level on Internet Explorer to default. If the security on Internet Explorer is configured at a higher security level than it is by default or it is running at a custom security level, it is likely that Java will be blocked. Set up Internet Explorer security to the default level In Windows 8, the options to change User Account Control settings are found in the Control Panel under System And Security -> Action Center.ħ. The execution method depends on the version of Windows you are using. If you feel that the User Account Control feature is causing the problem, you can temporarily disable it until the installation completes Java. Some users encounter the User Account Control window when installing Java and causing an error. Then right-click on the executable file and select Run As Administrator. To do this, download the offline installation version of Java and save it in an empty folder on your hard disk. If you have problems installing Java on Windows 7 or Windows 8, try installing Java with Administrator rights. Although 64-bit Java is often chosen when installing on 64-bit operating systems, 32-bit versions often have less problems installing. If you are having trouble installing the 64-bit version of Java, try the 32-bit version. In this case, the offline installer is more likely to successfully install than the Web installer. You can download the Java installation version offline. When installing Java using the Web Installer, it can cause some errors and the cause is usually an Internet connection. Next use Microsoft uninstaller to remove junk, registry entries. In this case, please remove all Java versions that are on the machine. If the Java Control Panel does not exist, it may conflict with JavaFX or another Java version. If the installation is successful, but Java does not work, check that the Java Control Panel appears in the Windows Control Panel. Closely linked to traditional Japanese ink paintings, Zenko viewed these gardens as unrolled scrolls. Home to six separate gardens, the Adachi Museum of Art’s landscapes are filled with plants and rocks that were carefully collected from across Japan by the museum’s founder, Adachi Zenko. The Adachi Museum of Art Yasugi, Shimane Prefecture, Japan The northern temple grounds also house a Zen rock garden, which was arranged by the famed Japanese rock gardener, Muso Soseki. Created in the 14th century, the moss formed later when the temple went in to disrepair. The Japanese Garden of Contemplation, Hamilton Gardens The Sand and Stone Garden, Portland Japanese Garden These Zen gardens were chosen for their historic significance as well as their simplistic beauty. These gardens are meant to be experienced from a single point outside the garden walls, and are often thought of as still, petrified landscapes. Large stones often represent mountains or mountain formations or waterfalls, and the raked pebbles evoke watery waves. These rock gardens, also known as dry landscape gardens or karesansui contain elements that are intended to represent larger landscapes and inspire meditation and contemplation. Tiny lakes and islands covered with moss and precisely manicured grasses and shrubs combined with larger rocks and gravel beds intended to represent nature’s spirit on a more intimate scale.ĭuring the 14th century, Classical Zen gardens that were created in Rinzai Zen Buddhist temples began to showcase a simpler style incorporating large boulders and painstakingly groomed gravel. Japanese rock gardens were first developed during the 8th century and often mimicked the gardens of China’s Song Dynasty. Their counterparts in Japan continue to be associated with religious temples, as they have for more than a millennium. such sanctuaries remain largely the provenance of museums and botanic gardens. While a number of universities have Zen Gardens, in the U.S. It’s about an approach, about caring, and how you see things. As places of quiet contemplation and reflection, Japanese Zen gardens seem the perfect counterbalance to the stresses of an always-on, hyper-connected existence. One way is to do incremental cleaning and maintenance. “In Japan, only about 20 percent of the land is habitable, so people learn to care for their environment. Every time I walk in the garden I pick up a few pine needles, a bit of trash or a few leaves,” says Uchiyama. “It’s not so much about massive cleaning and pruning projects, but about constant small actions. Nothing is maintenance-free, and sometimes Japanese-style gardens involve even more maintenance than other gardens, they agree. Landscapers specializing in Japanese garden aesthetics say one persistent misconception is that these gardens are low-maintenance or even maintenance-free. “It’s very possible to create a wonderful Japanese garden using all native plants,” says Browne. The Japanese garden aesthetic “is very simple sounding, but it’s the most difficult thing I ever thought of in my life,” explains Powell.Īs for sustainability, there’s been a major shift in thinking about Japanese-style gardens away from specimen gardens, which tend to feel a bit like a botanical garden, and toward greater use of plants adapted to local environments. I think especially today, that idea of connecting the indoors and the outdoors is an aesthetic that a lot of people strive for,” he explains. “That is a big change from the U.S., where the landscaping was traditionally there to dress the exterior of the house, but was very disconnected from interior space. John Powell, a garden builder and pruning specialist from Weatherford, Texas, who trained in Japan, says he was attracted to Japanese gardens by “the seamless connection between interior and exterior space, which is evocative of the larger natural world, sometimes in a very compressed space.” Other aesthetic concepts he says are widely appreciated now are asymmetrical balance, and the beauty and importance of rocks, stones and boulders as the “bones” of a composition, which can then be filled in in a supportive way with plantings. “In Japan at least, it seems that there is one core idea that has come down over centuries, and that is the idea of bringing the beauty of nature into daily lives,” he says. 9/18/2023 0 Comments Minding my business tumblrThe camping trip you and Bucky had been planning is completely ruined… or is it? If a rogue application or a corrupted cache is interfering with your Mac's ability to download Big Sur, Safe Mode should fix it. Safe Mode disables third-party processes, clears some caches, and performs a disk check during startup. If everything looks good, you should attempt further troubleshooting, such as booting to Safe Mode. If Apple reports any relevant server issues, you'll need to wait until the problem is fixed. If you receive a gateway timed out or bad gateway error when installing Big Sur, something may have interrupted the download, or Apple may be experiencing server issues.īefore performing any complex troubleshooting, you should first check the system status of the service you're trying to use. Fortunately, most common problems have relatively simple solutions, and the same troubleshooting steps apply to multiple situations. macOS Big Sur download problemsĪ failure to download is often one of the first issues you'll encounter with a new OS. Hopefully, Apple patches the issue in the next Big Sur update. The fix is only temporary and will prevent News from syncing, which isn't ideal for all users. Out of date applications can cause issues in any OS, including Big Sur. Let's discuss how to remedy problems that may arise after updating to macOS Big Sur 11.6.3. If you're having trouble installing Big Sur or you're experiencing other glitches, you can resolve most issues by following the correct troubleshooting steps. Apple has released several updates since then, but some common problems still remain. I very very seldom print or scan so it’s not surprising that my system was out of date.Like any OS release, Big Sur wasn't without issues when it debuted in 2020. The reason this likely worked for my husband and not me is that he updated his printer drivers while still on Catalina after HP screwed the pooch and mistakingly revoked certificates for their printer drivers in Oct 2020.While the printer will happily print with the Generic PCL driver (courtesy of Gutenprint) it doesn’t include the drivers for scanning. This doesn’t include the OS-level driver and without it the app can’t communicate with the scanner. Downloading the HP Easy Scan software from the App Store.Other things that I discovered during my attempt to fix this: I had already done this in my troubleshooting attempt so it’s unclear if this is a prerequisite or not. You might need to download and run the “ HP Uninstaller” first. So there is a driver for the printer it’s just difficult to find. If you click through far enough you’ll arrive on their My operating system is not listed on HP Software and Driver Downloads page which routes you to the Apple website linked above. The usual problem resolution path of going to HP’s Driver Download website fails because they don’t have macOS 11 drivers for the OfficeJet J4500. Why is that so incredibly hard to figure out? Because HP’s website is an incompetent mess. The solution is to download and install the HP 5.1.1 Printer Software Update from Apple, uninstall the printer, and reinstall it. I went to rant to my husband and surprisingly his Big Sur laptop was working just fine! And while usually I’m the stubborn technologist in the relationship, he was the one who solved this one. I spent a good 30 minutes Googling, uninstalling drivers, reinstalling drivers, with zero success. I don’t use it much but imagine my consternation when I received a malware message “HPScanner.app will damage your computer” from macOS Big Sur and the scanner refusing to work. It’s tax season here in the US and yesterday I plugged in our HP OfficeJet J4500 to scan in some documents that were mailed to us. 9/18/2023 0 Comments Reaktor synth programming classYou can always brush up on your math skills at any time by taking a local math course. They should be able to advise you on what level of math is required by students for the course. 03428.html (Read the first post and my first reply)Īs for the math, this is something you need to discuss with your course tutors prior to starting the course. I think I should refer you to these posts if you haven't already read them? Whether to do a course in music tech or not is not an easy choice to make. Sounds like two points you've made there. when people start talking about all the maths that goes along with mixing and how sound travels through my room my head just melts So at the moment i'm in a huge fuss trying to dive into the deep end of issues related to music making to see if i'm actually able for the course. the last time i did anything maths or physics based i was in secondary school. the problem is that for the course i don't think i have the maths skills required. So now i'm just wondering wheter or not i should do it. i wanted to do sound engineering when i first started university but got talked out of it. They run a 4-year music technology course that i would really love to do. now i'm currently taking a year out and i recently went to an open day at a local I.T. as you may know an undergraduate degree in arts is pretty much useless and is only used as a stepping stone for post-grad studies. Well the thing is i have an undergraduate degree in general arts and am currently taking a year out. I would just be just making stuff to learn and have fun really!! Same can be said of De La Mancha plugins for Synthedit. The Angular Momentum synths demonstrate nicely what is possible with Synth Maker. Basically, sky is the limit when it comes to the sounds it can put out. Synthedit allows users to use C or C++ to program new modules. You may just want a delay unit with 15 comb filters in the signal path on the output!! If you learn about some crazy dsp effect, you can knock it up in a synth making program quickly to test out. It allows you to build plugins that function how you want them too, not how others envision them. It is a little unwieldy to use, and is very easily over done, but it just gives out a raw sound I like!Īlso, I'm uncertain as to the sound quality of all the commercial plugins out there anyway.Ĭreating synths and effects from scratch gives you precise control over what your plugin in does. One of my favourite distortion plugins, MB Crushy, was made with Synthedit. I think it depends on the developers level of understanding related to DSP and audio, and also their creativity in creating plugins. Leafcutter John, Twerk, Venetian Snares (bidule but same principle), the people creating truly unique sound are utilizing some sort of modular programming. But listen to what Johnny Greenwood did with Max/Msp, Brilliant. That being said it can be very academic, which is why a lot of the commercial producers would stray away. It does take a ton of patience and a lot of work, but most of the people doing truly interesting work in the audio and audio/visual field are using Max/Msp and/or Reaktor in some sort of way. Thusly, you can create much more complex/intersting fx patches, instruments capable of creating sounds that are fairly out there. Its not just about instruments its about having the ability to control all parameters of whatever you are trying to achieve. One of the best parts of the Max/Msp and Reaktor following is the community that shares its patches and information. Yellowhighlighter wrote:i assume you'r never going to be able to create something that will rival stuff that "established" developers put out, and that these modular environments are best used for creating instruments that are very specific to your needs? |
